Maximilian Schell

International star Maximilian Schell won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe Award, and N.Y. Film Critics Award for Best Actor in Stanley Kramer's Judgment At Nuremberg. He also won the N.Y. Film Critics Award and an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Julia, as well as the Best Actor Oscar nomination for The Man In the Glass Booth. He won the Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination for his role of Lenin the HBO Mini-Series Stalin, and captured another Emmy nomination for the Hallmark Hall of Fame Miss Rose White. His many films include The Young Lions, Topkapi, The Freshman, Deep Impact, and Fesitval In Cannes, and his televsion appearances include Thornbirds, Joan Of Arc, Song of the Lark, and Peter the Great. He is also active in European theatre as a leading man and director.
